Roasts

  • Medium - Also known as city or regular roast, which is the most common roasting profile. The natural flavors of the beans are more dominant than the roast flavors and the finish is delightfully aromatic.
  • Dark - Also known as full city or French roast. The roast flavors dominate the natural flavors of the beans.

    Unfortunately, my last shipment contained 2 dark roast and 1 medium roast. I didn't get much of a kick out of the medium. I know it was just an error, and I look forward to receiving my 3 bags of dark roast beans arriving next week.

    We love the taste and first tried it at a Black Bear Diner in Harlingen, Texas and were so happy to find two of their diners in Houston, which we'll try soon.
    It's the best tasting coffee I have found since our bi-annual trips to New Orleans and our 50th wedding anniversary trip to Italy! The Italians I don't believe drink water, it's coffee during the day and wine for the evening.
